Much of Maple Brook was created in downtown Mooresville, around 30 miles north of Charlotte. Main Street became the centre of the fictional town, with local businesses transformed into Texas storefronts while others, including Pie in the Sky Pizza and What-A-Burger, appeared under their real names. The production also returned to Lake Norman, where the luxurious Azalea Retreat served as the backdrop for Margo’s lake house, helping establish the glamorous Southern lifestyle that defines the series.

Elsewhere, filming took place across Charlotte, with the Charlotte Observer citing locations including Coyote Joe’s, a real honky-tonk bar that features prominently in the series, as well as the Dilworth Tasting Room, Chapter 6, Park Church, Mooresville Public Library, and Stone Haven Estate in nearby Concord.
