The White Lotus season 4 filming locations already have fans ready to take off, with Mike White’s anthology series once again swapping paradise for another sun-drenched backdrop – before diluting it with scandal, sex, mystery, chaos, and all the bad decisions we’d never dare make back home.
After Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand, the HBO hit is heading across the pond to the glamorous French Riviera, with much of the action unfolding during the world-famous Cannes Film Festival. So, if you’re after a little Euro-summer inspiration (minus the murder and mayhem), here’s everything to know about The White Lotus season 4 filming locations.

What Is The Plot Of The White Lotus Season 4?
A brand-new batch of wealthy guests and hotel staff will find themselves wrapped up in another week of luxury, secrets, and drama.

Filming has been in full swing since April 2026 and is expected to continue through October, with the production making full use of the French Riviera’s stunning coastline.
It would’ve been almost criminal to set a season during the Cannes Film Festival without filming at the iconic Hotel Martinez in Cannes – the legendary beachfront hotel where celebrities including Bella Hadid, Leonardo DiCaprio, and countless A-listers stay every year during the festival. Sure enough, production cameras have been spotted there.
But the luxury doesn’t stop in Cannes. Variety first reported that another major filming location is the spectacular Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez, a five-star hilltop hotel overlooking the Côte d’Azur. Originally built as a 19th-century palace, the property is now owned by Stéphane Courbit, founder and chairman of Banijay Group.
Needless to say, it doesn’t come cheap. Suites can cost anywhere from around $3,000 to well over $8,000 per night, with guests even receiving Rolls-Royce transfers to the hotel’s private beach.
Fair to say Mike White isn’t exactly scaling back the luxury for The White Lotus season 4 filming locations.
